CBD Oil Dosage and Administration - Dogs and Cats

Recommended dosages and administration of CBD Oil for:

• Small dogs breeds,
• Medium dog breeds,
• Large dog breeds,
• and Cats.

If you aren’t satisfied with the results then slowly increase the dosage by an increase of 1 mg every week until satisfied. We recommend to not to go over the maximum of  5mg for every 10lbs of body weight. 5mg for every 10lbs of body weight would be at the high end of our recommended CBD dosage levels for pets.

If you end up giving your dog or cat more then the recommended dosages mentioned above then don’t panic. CBD is considered safe to use. There is no known toxic dose of CBD and there have been no reports of any people or animals overdosing on CBD. There are very few known side effects of using CBD on pets.

CBD Oil Dosage for small sized dog breeds:

We recommend a range of 1-5 mg CBD for every 10 pounds of body weight
1 drop = 0.20 mg CBD

Pet Weight = Up to 25lbs/11kg           

Dosage = up to 1.25mg 2 x day (3 drops)

Recommended product: Small Dog CBD Oil 125mg

 

CBD Oil Dosage for medium sized dog breeds:

We recommend a range of 1-5 mg CBD for every 10 pounds of body weight

1 drop = 0.42 mg CBD

Pet Weight = 25-50lb/11-23kg           

Dosage = 1.25 to 2.5mb 2 x day (3-6 drops)

Recommended product:  Medium Dog CBD Oil 250mg

 

CBD Oil Dosage for large sized dog breeds:

We recommend a range of 1-5 mg CBD for every 10 pounds of body weight

1 drop = 0.83 mg CBD

Pet Weight = 50-75lb/23-34kg         

Dosage = 2.5 to 3.75mg 2 x day (3-4.5 drops)

Large Dogs over 75lb/34kg             

Dosage = 3.75mg+   2 x day (4.5 drops)

Recommended product:  Large Dog CBD Oil 500mg

 

CBD Oil Dosage for cats:

A good starting point would be 2mg for every 10lbs of body weight administered once to twice a day or as needed.

Recommended product: Cat CBD Oil 200mg

 

Administering CBD Oil to your pet

Apply the applicable number of CBD Oil drop on food or a treat or directly into the mouth of your pet.
